D.C. Cupcake

Meet sisters Katherine and Sophie. They run Georgetown Cupcake in Washington DC. Their show on TLC, DC Cupcakes, depicts their lives in the shop as they meet deadlines to create the most dreamy looking cupcakes.

Heavenly, aren't they!  You must check out their Georgetown Cupcake site. If you click on the menu section, you can see for yourself the divine treats these two master bakers create. If you feel like spending a pretty penny on their delectable bites, they do ship via air. Lucky you!

I have included this short tutorial hosted by the sisters on how to make birthday ice cream cone cupcakes. They look yummy and so cute!

In other news, I decided to live on the edge yesterday. Guess what I did? I actually baked the
tomato cupcakes. I couldn't help myself.

These were my three little bakers. I told them we were making cupcakes. I hadn't told them they were tomato soup cupcakes; hence, the happy faces. (Mean mommy, mean!)

My oldest was not too sure about tomato soup as part of the ingredients. Her mother wasn't too sure either.

Yes! That is tomato soup in the mixture. Yum! Yum!

Pulling faces. This might have been after I revealed that the cupcakes were tomato cupcakes.

Tomato soup cupcakes before I put them in the oven.  Of course presentation is key.  I used leftover Christmas cupcake holders.

The final result! I am going to end with a cliff hanger. You will have to come back Friday to see the verdict. Will it be surprisingly delish! or expected disgust!? What is your guess?

Finally, Pam you are the winner of the $40.00 movie gift certificate.  Thank you for being one of That's Entertainment's biggest fans on the blog and facebook.  Please email me at thatsentertainment@hotmail.com.  Pam I know who you are?  Do you know who I am?
